ONMA Teen/Adult Club
ONMA's Teen/Adult Martial Arts Club in Philadelphia provides training in a diverse range of African and Diasporic martial arts. Participants can learn Morengy Kickboxing, a dynamic Malagasy striking art characterized by powerful kicks, knee strikes. and bare knuckle striking. Participants can explore the intricacies of African Stick Fighting, encompassing various styles from across the continent that utilize sticks for both attack and defense, sometimes incorporating shields and reflecting rich cultural heritages. Finally, the club includes training in African Wrestling, a collection of traditional wrestling styles with a focus on skillful takedowns and throws, each with its own unique rules and cultural significance. This club offers a unique opportunity for teenagers and adults to develop physical prowess, discipline, and an understanding of African martial arts traditions.


Capoeira Com Expressao Philadelphia
Members will have the privilege of taking capoeira classes, hosted by the Philadelphia branch of Capoeira Com Expressao, taught by Professor Urubuzinho. Capoeira is a captivating Afro-Brazilian art form that seamlessly integrates combat, dance, music, and acrobatics. In partnership with CE Philly, discounted membership deals for ONMA will be offered to anyone who signs up with CE Philly.
